Iran’s Take on the VT Shootings

Thank goodness. Iran has told us what to think about the tragedy at Virginia Tech:

“Attacking innocent people, irrespective of their race and nationality, is contrary to divine and human values no matter which group or person carries out such an act under any name,” the Iranian statement said.

Yeah, I guess the Mullahs only endorse attacks on innocent people, because of their race (Jewish) and nationality (Israeli). Just shooting innocent people at random? That would be wrong.

Yeah, I am not sure how many American can cope eaither. We are upset about this horrible tragedy and rightfully so, but for the most part were quite comfortable launching a preemptive strike (thus, unjust war) on Iraq. But I guess when the military is doing the killing and not some disturbed individual, it becomes morally acceptable.

Oh Rex, please tell me that you recognize the difference between the two.

  3. Rex Says:

Your questioning me about recognizing the difference after you made a post about the hypocracy of Iran… This seem like the pot is questioning the kettle for calling itself black.
