Atomic Breakthrough?!?

Well that’s not good.

Here’s one story:

TEHRAN (AFX) - Iran will soon announce an atomic breakthrough, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported today, a day after the country responded to an offer aimed at resolving a nuclear standoff. ‘This great scientific achievement is the fruit of a long-term research project … It will be formally announced by a top official,’ Mehr quoted an informed source as saying.

Here’s another from MEMRI:

“It is expected that the first anniversary of the forming of the ninth government will be the date of the Ahmadinejad government’s ‘nuclear birth.’

And in case you need help in understanding why it is not good for Ahmadinejad to have any sort of a nuclear breakthrough:

‘(H)e believes that his religious duty is to create chaos and bloodshed in the “infidel” world, in order to hasten the return of the Mahdi - the Hidden Imam. So don’t expect him to behave, in your eyes, “reasonably”.’

So who is this Hidden Imam? He was a direct descendant of the Prophet Mohammed who, at the age of five, disappeared down a well around AD940. He will only return after a period of utter chaos and bloodshed, whereupon peace, justice and Islam will reign worldwide.

One Response to “Atomic Breakthrough?!?”

  1. extremist Says:

I was telling someone recently about all this, including that (1) Ahmaninejad and his fellow Hojjatieh-sympathizers in control of the Iranian government claim to be in contact with the 12th Imam and that (2) “he had a list of his proposed cabinet members dropped into a well adjacent to the Jamkaran mosque.”

The response I got was something like, “Well, if that little guy has been down in the well since 940 A.D., I bet he’d rather they drop him cheeseburger!”
