Life-saving Breasts
I have always been of the opinion that breast implants were just plain silly when done solely for cosmetic purposes (excluding reconstructive surgery). It’s just a little creepy. It also seems to my mind a symptom of extreme vanity and materialism and with no redeeming value to it.
And yet, here I am confronted with a very good reason to do such a thing. I have no idea why the young lady in question had…umm…enhanced her assets. But in her situation, it was clearly a good idea.
Doctors found shrapnel embedded in the silicone implants, just inches from the 24-year-old’s heart.
