President Huckabee?
Is Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee running for President? When I mentioned the possibility to a colleague of mine, his response was dismissive. “There will never be a President Huckabee. His name is just too weird.”

Huckabee will never be president. Too many skeletons. Ask any member of the AFCR’s (Arkansas Federation of College Republicans) from the late 90’s.

If Mike Huckabee wants to be president then he, along with other republicans, better wait until 2012 elections. Just as President Clinton did in the chances of another Democrat getting elected, I think President Bush (whom I voted for despite some issues I disagree with him on) is quickly burning the bridge to a Republican president gaining election in 2008.

Huckabee must not consider these so-called “skeletons” to be as big of a deal as Wiser insinuates. Huckabee’s been touring hotspots around the nation giving speeches, including Iowa, New Hampshire and my own little corner of Memphis.

James, don’t be a tease. What skeletons?

Huckabee doesn’t have bad skeletons. Besides maybe losing 100 pounds… he’s a good man.
